Mac OS X 10.5 Educational Pricing Update For Bookstore BuyersApple has raised the online Educational price for Mac OS 10.5, but what was not clear at the time is what the higher educational bookstore price was going to be.  Bookstore pricing is commonly different than the online educational store for any software company as bookstores can check school id’s.  Apple has released the pricing for Mac OS 10.5 at the educational bookstore.

Leopard To Be Oficially Released October 26thAs reported on the 9th of October, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard will officially be released on October 26th at 6:00pm.  Here at TheMacWizard.com we do not like to report on rumors as it only makes people excited when they might not need to be.  I know when I read rumors on the Internet I have to take them with a grain of salt as mostly they do not come true.  The release of Mac OS X 10.5 will forever change how Mac’s access the Internet and how people use their Mac’s.

iPhone Trademark Dispute With Comwave in CanadaWhen most people think of the iPhone name, they think of Apple’s new cell phone breakout consumer electronic device.  Well, this is not the case in Canada.  A company called Comwave from the Maple leaf country specifically Toronto, says people should think of the iPhone name in their country a different way.  The president of the company Yuval Barzakay claims that it owns the trademark in Canada for  VoIP or voice over Internet protocol products.
