iPhone hackers and normal users alike now have a newer program to work with. iFuntastic from iPhoneAlley has been upgraded to version 3. This new version of the iFuntastic software for the Apple iPhone cellphone adds support for PowerPC G4 and G5-based Apple computers.
This newer version of iFuntastic offers the ability to change the home screen with the ability for multiple screens and wallpaper changes, custom ringtone support has improved, file browser, drag and drop install of software applications, rearrange icons on the home screen and improved “unshackling,” which should allow the iPhone to update and preserve iTunes syncing.
As with all software programs that change the underlying system of the Apple iPhone, care needs to be observed before installing iFuntastic or using it to change the iPhone cellphone.
