Apple Mac Mini With Intel Core 2 Duo

Apple released several new products and upgrades to their current lines at the recent press conference.  Some of the new products released from Apple are the new iMac 4th generation, wired and Bluetooth slim keyboards, AirPort Extreme Base Station with Gigabit ethernet ports and a new PCI Express RAID card option for the Mac Pro.

Their last but not least product upgrade during the press event was their Mac Mini.

The new Mac Mini includes the Intel Core 2 Duo processors.  They introduced two models, the first comes with a 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo, 80 GB SATA hard drive and 1GB of RAM for $599.  The faster of the two models has a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo Intel processor, 120 GB SATA hard drive and 1GB of RAM for $799.

Both models come with an Apple Remote and Front Row, OS X 10.4, iLife ’08 and a DVI-to-VGA adapter.  Users needing a little extra can built-to-order an extra gigabyte of RAM and a larger 160 GB SATA hard drive. Via Engadget.
