Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard has now included the Bluetooth A2DP audio profile. A2DP is the audio profile for stereo music on devices. It specifically sends a stereo signal to Bluetooth headsets so that you can listen to music and other audio from a Bluetooth equipped Macintosh computer.

Yesterday’s announcement of the MacBook Pro Software update 1.2, has been followed by the iMac 2.0, 2.4 and 2.8GHz 20-inch and 24-inch models receiving two different software updates depending on which Mac OS X version the user is running. The iMac’s have had a few issues with freezing during use and so Apple is trying to polish out this bug for maximum uptime.
