iPhone TightVNC Software

Controlling your Mac or PC via another computer has been done since the early days of dial-up Internet.  Now, iPhone users are able to access even their PC’s.  The modified version of  TightVNC software, from an online user, is apparently able to work quite nicely according to reports.

The iPhone’s capability of zooming and panning are great for moving around the PC desktop.  The clicking, typing and drag and drop moves are also included and reported to be fully functional.  The user that modified the software is also giving all of the source code and information for this applications for free.

iPhone Mac VNC TelekinesisIf you happen to be a user looking to login to your Mac and control it with your iPhone, a program called Telekinesis is available.  The program is currently listed in Alpha stage, so functions are more likely to fail than to work properly.  This software is able to “remotely access their Mac through a collection of mini web apps on their phone.”  The program is able to take screen captures, Home directory browsing, run AppleScripts remotely and control iTunes.

Whichever software you choose, they should provide some access and control for your computers back at the home or office.  Via Engadget.
