March 10th saw a Tweetup, a meeting of friends that use Twitter, Facebook or other social media networking sites, inside of the Lavo Las Vegas Restaurant at the Palazzo Las Vegas hotel. Over 40 people showed up to talk about social media, to help friends with questions and meet IRL, in real life. Lavo provided the Tweetup attendees with drinks and excellent appetizers.
Organizers of the event were Bill Cody, Al Ferretti from Minnesota and myself. Planning for the event went well and was key as Bill and myself left for the South by South West Interactive Conference 2010 in Austin, Texas the next day.
