Apple has announced on the retail page for 10.5 Leopard that it will be available on the 26th of October, 2007 at 6:00pm. The Leopard event will be from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. If you happen to be one of the first 500 guests, you will receive a special edition Leopard T-shirt.
There will be “live demos” and the chance to “test drive” the new Mac OS X operating system. The “test drive” may take place on the in-store systems.
Reports from major news sources like the New York Times and from David Pogue, a technology writer and Mac fan says, “powerful, polished and carefully conceived.” It seems that the new software upgrade puts the mac even further ahead of Vista. Via Tuaw.
